All BCD staff share a passion for children and are required to have a level of experience and training. In addition, the staff is trained in Emergency First Aid and CPR and has undergone a criminal record and child abuse registry check.

CCA- A Child Care Assistant is an individual who has completed 40 hours of an introductory course in Early Childhood Education.

ECE II- An Early Childhood Educator II is an individual who has obtained a diploma in child care from a post-secondary institution.

ECE III- An Early Childhood Educator III is an individual who has obtained a degree in child care from an educational institution.
